Laura Granlund, MS, RDN, LN, has been a practicing registered dietitian since 2016. She is a proud graduate of Michigan State University and holds a master's degree from Montana State University. An alumna of the Montana State Dietetic Internship program, Laura currently serves as the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) for University of Montana Dining Services. In addition, she is a faculty member, teaching various nutrition and public health courses, with a primary focus on Basic Human Nutrition. Laura's professional interests include food systems sustainability, food additives and regulation, and exploring complex issues related to food quality in the American food system. She continuously strives to empower consumers to make educated decisions about their food procurement and to influence policy changes aimed at improving the food supply.

Before going to school for dietetics, I wanted to be a fashion merchandiser or work in the fashion industry. I love clothes, style, and fashion… recycled or second hand of course.
